The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024, held at Pragati Maidan from February 1-3, 2024, showcased India's remarkable strides in the mobility sector. Minister of Commerce & Industry, Piyush Goyal, lauded the event's resounding success, announcing its transition into an annual affair due to its outstanding achievements. With over 800 exhibitors, including 28 vehicle manufacturers and auto component makers, the expo drew a massive crowd of 150,000 visitors from India and overseas, solidifying its position as a premier platform for cutting-edge innovations.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing industry leaders at Bharat Mandapam, commended India's automotive industry for its remarkable growth trajectory. He emphasized India's rapid economic expansion, poised to become the world's third-largest economy during the current government's tenure, and highlighted the surge in car sales, particularly electric cars, reflecting the nation's rising prosperity.

Ministers such as Piyush Goyal, Nitin Gadkari, Narayan Rane, Hardeep Singh Puri, and Mahendra Nath Pandey graced the occasion, acknowledging the expo's significance in fostering industry collaborations and technological advancements.

Goyal underscored the expo's role as a platform for showcasing India's growth story and facilitating collaborations between technology and automotive sectors. He highlighted the expected contributions from software and technology companies, estimated to reach up to $150 billion for the mobility sector.

The expo featured a diverse range of vehicles powered by alternative fuels, including electric, hybrid, CNG, and biofuel, highlighting the industry's commitment to innovation and sustainability. Over 600 auto component manufacturers participated, showcasing a wide array of products and services for various supply chains.

The integration of ACMA Automechanika New Delhi further enriched the event, emphasizing its inclusive approach towards the entire automotive ecosystem. With active participation from industry bodies like SIAM, ACMA, and others, the expo served as a comprehensive platform for industry stakeholders to converge, exchange ideas, and drive mobility solutions' evolution.

Participants such as Hyundai Motor, Škoda Auto Volkswagen India, MG Motor India, Volvo, Force Motors, TVS Motor, and Hero MotoCorp showcased their latest products and technologies, reaffirming their commitment to providing innovative and sustainable mobility solutions.

The Bharat Mobility Global Expo is poised to significantly contribute to India's mobility ecosystem's growth and development, serving as a dynamic forum for stakeholders to collaborate and drive innovation.
